Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes the rules governing our processing of information about you, including personal data and cookies.
1. General Information
This policy applies to the website operating at the following url: sushipak.pl
The operator of the website and the Controller of personal data is: YESTEAM LLC, with its registered office at 102 Gold Avenue Southwest, 87102 Albuquerque, USA.
Contact e-mail address of the operator: [email protected]
The Operator is the Controller of your personal data with respect to data provided voluntarily on the Website.
The Website uses personal data for the following purposes:
- performance of the ordered services.
The Website obtains information about users and their behaviour in the following ways:
- through data voluntarily entered into forms, which are entered into the Operator’s systems,
- by storing cookie files (so-called “cookies”) on end devices.
2. Selected Data Protection Methods Applied by the Operator
- Login areas and places where personal data are entered are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). As a result, personal data and login credentials entered on the website are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the destination server.
- User passwords are stored in hashed form. The hashing function is one-way — it is not possible to reverse its operation, which constitutes the current standard for storing user passwords.
- The Operator periodically changes its administrative passwords.
- An important element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of software components.
3. Hosting
The Website is hosted (technically maintained) on the servers of the provider: www.cloudflare.com
4. Your Rights and Additional Information on How the Data Are Used
In certain situations, the Controller has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if this is necessary for the performance of the contract concluded with you or for the fulfilment of obligations incumbent on the Controller. This applies to the following groups of recipients:
- couriers,
- payment operators,
- authorised employees and associates who use the data for the purpose of fulfilling the purpose of the website’s operation.
Your personal data are processed by the Controller for no longer than is necessary to perform the related activities specified by separate regulations (e.g. on accounting). With respect to marketing data, the data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.
You have the right to request from the Controller:
- access to your personal data,
- rectification of your data,
- erasure of your data,
- restriction of processing,
- and data portability.
You have the right to object to the processing of personal data carried out for the purpose of pursuing the legitimate interests of the Controller, including profiling; however, the right to object cannot be exercised if there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
A complaint against the Controller’s actions may be lodged with the supervisory authority: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office of Poland (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for the operation of the Website.
Actions involving automated decision-making, including profiling, may be undertaken with respect to you for the purpose of providing services under the concluded contract and for the purpose of direct marketing conducted by the Controller.
5. Information in Forms
The Website collects information provided voluntarily by the user, including personal data, if provided.
The Website may record information about connection parameters (timestamp, IP address).
In some cases, the Website may record information facilitating the linking of data in a form with the e-mail address of the user completing the form. In such a case, the user’s e-mail address appears within the url address of the page containing the form.
Data provided in a form are processed for the purpose resulting from the function of the specific form, e.g. for the purpose of handling a service request, commercial contact, service registration, etc. In each case, the context and description of the form clearly indicate what it is used for.
6. Administrator’s Logs
Information on user behaviour on the website may be subject to logging. These data are used for the purpose of administering the website.
7. Significant Marketing Techniques
The Operator applies statistical analysis of website traffic via Google Analytics (provider: Google Ireland Limited, with its registered office in Ireland). The Operator does not transfer personal data to the provider of this service, only anonymised information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device. With regard to information on user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user may view and edit information derived from cookies using the following tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
The Operator applies remarketing techniques that allow advertising messages to be matched to the user’s behaviour on the website, which may give the impression that the user’s personal data are being used to track them; however, in practice, no personal data are transferred from the Operator to advertising operators. The technological condition for such activities is enabled cookie support.
The Operator uses the Meta Pixel (formerly the Facebook Pixel). This technology means that the Meta service (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, with its registered office in Ireland) knows that a person registered with it is using the Website. In this case, it relies on data for which it is itself the controller; the Operator does not transfer any additional personal data to the Meta service. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.
The Operator uses a solution that studies user behaviour by creating heat maps and recording behaviour on the website. This information is anonymised before being sent to the service provider so that the provider does not know which natural person it concerns. In particular, entered passwords and other personal data are not recorded.
The Operator uses a solution that automates the operation of the Website with respect to users, e.g. capable of sending an e-mail to a user after they visit a specific subpage, provided that they have consented to receiving commercial correspondence from the Operator.
The Operator may apply profiling within the meaning of data protection regulations.
8. Information about Cookies
The Website uses cookies.
Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the Website User and are intended for use of the Website’s web pages. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device, and a unique number.
The entity placing cookies on the end device of the Website User and accessing them is the Website operator.
Cookies are used for the following purposes:
- maintaining the Website user’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the user does not have to re-enter their login and password on each subpage of the Website,
- fulfilling the purposes set out above in the section “Significant Marketing Techniques”.
The Website uses two basic types of cookies: “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies. “Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User’s end device until the User logs out, leaves the website or shuts down the software (web browser). “Persistent” cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.
Web browsing software (web browser) usually allows cookies to be stored on the User’s end device by default. Website Users may change their settings in this respect. The web browser makes it possible to delete cookies. It is also possible to block cookies automatically. Detailed information on this subject can be found in the help section or documentation of the web browser.
Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Website’s web pages.
Cookies placed on the end device of the Website User may also be used by entities cooperating with the Website operator, in particular the following companies: Google (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland), Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Ireland).
9. Managing Cookies — How to Give and Withdraw Consent in Practice?
If the user does not wish to receive cookies, they may change their browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies necessary for authentication, security and maintaining user preferences may make it difficult, and in extreme cases impossible, to use the websites.
To manage your cookie settings, select the web browser you use and follow its instructions.
